Ph.D. Philosophy Doctor

Doctorate program Ph.D. Philosophy Doctor in connection with an online form of the study was developed to develop knowledge from previous studies.

The Ph.D. Doctorate program is the gate to the academic community of participants who want to further develop their knowledge or transfer the knowledge to students within lecturing activity at universities. The study is intended for future scientific workers as well as for experts in the field of law, political science, economy, management, social work or healthcare, who need to gain and enhance their research and analytic skills.

The dissertation thesis is delivered in Slovak, English, or German. If the dissertation was not written in English, it must contain min. 10 pages of a summary of the topic, research, and results in English.

Entry requirements:  

  • Completion of a Master´s degree.

The length of the study is 27 months – 5 years.

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be awarded the Ph.D. – Philosophy Doctor.

  • Ph.D. Strategic Management
  • Ph.D. International Business

Requirements

  • Completed masters or engineering study program.
  • Interview
  • Submission of the project, which is the basis of the research work of the future doctoral student

Doctoral studies include

Mandatory:

  • Publication of articles in domestic or foreign scientific journals (6 articles)
  • Dissertation in the range of 200 to 250 pages
  • Elaboration of 4 specialized tasks
  • Participation in a professional event in the Slovak Republic or abroad. Student participation must be recorded and confirmed by the event organizer
  • Authorship / co-authorship of teaching texts

Optional

  • Assessment activities of homework, exams, diploma theses, or bachelor’s theses for lower-grade students.
  • Member of the examination commission
  • Publication of a monograph in the range of min. 100 pages
  • Publication of professional literature in the range of min. 150 – 200 pages
  • Teaching activities
  • Mondo International Academy can be helpful to provide publication of articles in scientific journals and online publications for Ph.D. students.
