LL.M Family Law 

LL.M Family Law study program offers students the opportunity to acquire knowledge in areas from which many resonate in society and appear to be conflicting. In this study program, the student will get a rare view of various aspects of maintenance obligations, child deprivation syndrome, conflict resolution, alternative care of children, and parental rights and duties. All these aspects are always demonstrated in practical cases, which enriches the study.

The study is designed for lawyers, notaries, trainees, lawyers, law students, lawyers, and working with him on a daily basis to study the principles underpinning modern family law.

The aim of the program is to make family law perceived in a wider social context.


  • the possibility of a parallel study together with another study program,
  • specialization in a certain field of law,
  • the possibility of shortening the study,
  • choice of the form of study.

LL.M Family Law - Mondo International Academy
LL.M is an abbreviation from Latin term Legum Magister, which means “master of law”. It is internationally recognized post-graduate law education.

Study process:

In each study programme there are 3 core (compulsory) modules. The student chooses 6 mandatory modules, with the option to specialize in his study focus by replacing three of them with 3 mandatory modules from another study programme.

The study is not based on the semester system.

The study ends with working out the final thesis, with a positive rating from the supervisor and the opponent.

Entry requirements:  

  • Completion of either a Bachelor´s degree from a university or high school studies (+ at least 3-5 years of working experience) or equivalent to the level of an academic bachelor’s degree.
  • Students must complete a Bachelor´s degree in Legal Studies before applying to LL.M study programmes.

In addition to the general entry requirements, you must meet the specific entry requirements as detailed by each programme. For example, many Master’s degree programmes require that your Bachelor’s degree has a particular major, or you may need to have completed certain subject credits within your Bachelor’s degree.

The study consists of compulsory, mandatory and elective modules.

The length of the study is 9 – 18 months.
